Bright diyas amidst colourful rangolis

bring in joy dispelling melancholy .

Tiny lamps brighten the world,

so do the little pleasures of life;

inundating minds with zest for life,

lighting up faces with joyous smiles,

bracing us up to conquer darkness-

the darkness of gloom & ignorance;

sprinkling the colours of cheerfulness,

leading us towards delight &radiance.

To revel in this essence of life

share the light of knowledge & joy.

Spread laughter & sunshine
