Gaunt gaze haunts the sky,
unploughed earth eyes unsown seeds;
delayed monsoon scathes.

Early bird enjoys,
yet delay is good at times;
early worm laments.

Fading green cover,
rising ocean, graying air
too late to save earth.

ReplyDeleteThanks Ma'am, for us monsoon is fun to get drenched in and when it results in traffic jams and water-logging, we complain...But the farmer's livelihood and future depends on rain...Our futures depend too, but we seldom realise it..
