Song of dusk

"Come ye traveller,
rest awhile fore you fly again",
the young night sang.

The young night sang
"never give up your heart's pursuit,
fill your heart with dreams "

"Fill your heart with dreams,
while I soothe your aching limbs;
fore you fly away..."

This post is inspired by the prompt on Haikuheights and this week's prompt is DUSK

  1. This is more of a poem than haiku..I enjoyed the idea of the night singing to us..good thought!

    1. Thanks Sanjana, glad you liked it. I'm new to Haiku way of writing, since many veterans have pointed out this is not much of a Haiku, I have now marked this as a poem :)
