Golden gravel

Bouncing up and down,
through sea of golden gravel,
ship of desert sails.

Winds of change at work,
never-ending draft of life,
puff of golden dust.

  3. Beautiful Haiku. Hope these camels cross the desert within 2 weeks because they can survive without water for 2 weeks only. (and 30 days without food.)

    1. Thanks SG. I hope they find some water source along the way, wasn't aware of their long fasting abilities.

  6. I'm enduring some of those "puffs of dust" here in the Sonoran Desert this morning. Well, they are more like howling blasts! Not exactly as pleasant as the description you present!

    1. Yes, sandstorms leave behind a unpleasant trail MMT. I merely meant to say that shifting sands are much like ever-changing ways of life.
