Comfort


Stone soup served with love,
comfort food for hungry soul,
outdoes lavish spread.

Broken heart, bruised knee,
mother's touch is panacea,

    I love the first one in particular because it is so ryhthmic and beautiful. It sounds great out loud. I like the content of the second one- so true, makes me think of my mom as a mom at her best.

    Ah! Stone Soup! I remember reading about Stone Soup in a children's book when I was a kid. A sweet memory -- thank you for jogging that memory!
