Facing fears

Heart in mouth feeling;
admitting one's failings, faults -
true daredevilry.

***********************************

Braving queer, wild world;
voicing against violence -
Fears faced and conquered.

  1. Such profound thoughts... facing both these fears speaks about the inner strength of the person! Good one, Reshma :)

    1. Been seeing a lot of silent suffering in books and movies and of course brave-hearts in real life, I guess that was the inspiration :)

  2. Oh this is well expressed. Truth itself is dare and admitting something takes a lot of guts!

    The second one ispires us to raise our voice against violence, prejudices etc.

    Well thought out and written.

    1. I feel standing by the truth at all times is the true test of character and of course speaking out against the wrongdoings unfazed by the societal pressures is even more difficult.
      Thank you Kislaya :)

  7. Being fearless is the name of the game. Everybody has fear, but if they overcome it, then they can be successful in almost everything.
    Nice Haiku Reshma
