Time, words bite the dust,
advices, threats, arguments,
stubborn mind heeds none.

Waste of time some say;
fun and fact sate human thirst-
water cooler chat.

This post is shared with Haikuheights and the prompt is USELESS
I loved them both...it is indeed a waste of time to speak to a stubborn mind and ofcourse water cooler chats are always fun however useless they maybe! :)
ReplyDeleteVery true, thanks Apurva :)
DeleteSo cool Reshma.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarala.
DeleteBrilliant use of the prompt! If we could gather all those wasted moments together in a mod podge of specific memories at the water cooler, we would probably be amazed at the things that mattered at that moment in time. As far as the arguments, threats, and unhappy thoughts...those useless thoughts are best forgotten and regulated to the past. ♥
ReplyDeleteVery true, Kathy. Life is but a collection of many amazing moments which we hardly notice at first sight but deep down they add more meaning to our lives. Thank you for your encouraging words :)
DeleteWater cooler chats are always enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteOh yes SG, they are generally refreshing :)
DeleteThose quick water cooler chats ... I am always up for them :-)
ReplyDeleteTruer words, Reshma. It can be useless trying to see reason with a stubborn mind.
ReplyDeleteYes Celestine, it only leaves you drained out of energy and time.
DeleteReshma this a universal truth.Stubborn minds never heed to any advice. They tink they are always correct. Very nice depiction.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ushaji :) Glad you liked my take.
DeleteI think your haiku agrees with an old adage. Never argue with a fool. Well done!
